Social Worker for Long Term Care
Suncreek Village is looking for an experienced, qualified Social Worker for their long term care facility.
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting elderly residents and their families to meet their diverse psychosocial needs in adaptation to the stresses associated with chronic illness/disability, relocation and institutional life including dealing with interpersonal issues ranging from intimacy to aggression and violence.
- Job is Part time.
- Hrs are variable and flexible: approximately 4 hr days, 3 times a week, or whatever schedule is agreed upon between employer and successful candidate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Social Work
- Related experience working as a Social Worker - long term care setting preferred.
- Conflict resolution training and experience
